» Staff Positions

I've fiddled with this idea in the past to open some staff positions to help around, bridge the gap between leaders and members, promote activity.

Some positions I've thought up on are:
This is NOT final or being implemented immediately. It's a possible consideration for the future.

Community Volunteer: The first step for anyone aspiring to hold any of these positions.
GFX Artist: Assigned GFX (graphics) maker(s) for the forums/clan/etc.
Journalist/Editor: Things like clan news, PotW, possibly a new gaming news section, etc.
Recruiter/Advertisement: Advertises the clan, recruits people, etc.
Coder/Skinner: Specializes in coding/skinning to improve the forums.
Community Manager: Jack of all trades.

Then of course we'll still have our PS3, Wii, X360, etc. Divisions, their game leaders, and such.

This would be for people would are looking to take a more active role in the forums or clan. I'm open to more positions suggests or refinements or w/e. Right now this is all debatable and I'd like to know what you guys think.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I'd be willing to help with any of that stuff, just not the coding and all that because I don't have the programs for it.

I've wanted GFX artists/team for the longest time. I just didn't think we had any, if you know what I mean. ;P Aside from that, nice job coming up with more than I did in that one topic in AO awhile back. <_<

I think we should put it more like the military and have:

Commanding Officer - CO = K.O, obviously.
Executive Officer - XO= 2nd in charge.
Admin Officer - AO- Handles all forms and official business. Manages the site.
Operations Officer - Ops= Handles events and planning whatever. And in this case graphics and banners.
Training Officer - TO= Recruitment and the like.

And have staff assistants for all these positions.

Sound nice?

Some of these defined:

Recruiter: Will be a multi-platform role. Does not have to be or make you a tester. Recruiters simply amend/moderate the recruitment/challenge forums, point possible recruits in the right direction (to testers, list of Gamertags, etc.), answer questions. They usually reply to new applicants quickly to speed up the recruitment process.

Advertiser: Sorta like the Recruiter, but works with the GFX guys or without to promote the clan on forums and sites of equal interest. Be creative here. =P Fortunz is a good example.

Coder: Helps with overall maintenance of the forums, getting hacks, making it pretty, etc. This will likely get you a background check.

Skinner: Pretty much the same as the GFX Artist might be merged into it. Just helps with fixing skins, making skins, banners, etc.

Community Manager: Helps screen volunteers & assign them to positions, helps/fills in where needed.

Of course we'll still have the game divisions, game leaders, etc. This will be for people looking to take a more active role in the clan overall. Everything will be strictly voluntaryly.

curious. i thought we already have a recruitment system setup (aux/core). advertising team would be really beneficial (for recruitment PR), but I think we already have recruitment setup right?

so we're making a new role of recruiters who will send prospects to... recruiters (testers). I suppose that makes sense, but is it too much to just have the actual recruiters fill this role as well?

lol I just thought of Office Space when the guys ask the fat guy 'So what is it that you actually DO here other than send reports' to which he replies "I'm a people person!... I HAVE PEOPLE SKILLS :@"
